Ava’s Journal: My Magical Week with My Coloring Book
Hi! I’m Ava. I’m 9 years old. And this week I did something amazing — I colored my own fairy story. 🌟
My mom gave me the Beauties in Fairyland Coloring Book from Medeea Publishing House. At first, I thought I’d just color a few pages and then go back to playing… but something really magical happened instead.
Here’s what my week looked like:
🌈 Monday
I colored a fairy with purple hair and green wings. I named her Tira. She lives in a giant sunflower and can talk to butterflies. I didn’t tell anyone — yet.
💬 Tuesday
I made up her story! She helps lost bugs find their way home. While I colored her dress, I told her story out loud (quietly). It made me feel calm.
🎨 Wednesday
I showed Mom. She said it was beautiful and asked about Tira. We talked about how colors can be feelings. Green = safe. Purple = brave.
📖 Thursday
I wrote her name on the page. And then I made up another fairy — Nomi, who lives inside a mushroom and plays a leaf flute. I colored her with gold and blue.
🌟 Friday
My little cousin came over. We both colored fairies and made up stories together! It was the best day.
💖 What I Learned This Week
That coloring isn’t just for fun — it helps me tell stories, be brave, and feel proud. When I color, I’m in charge of the world I make.
